On June 24-25, 2017, Kelly Dumas, occupational therapist at Life Care Center of Auburn, Massachusetts, will be participating in the Bike MS: Cape Cod Getaway to raise money and awareness for multiple sclerosis.
Bike MS: Cape Cod Getaway is a 150-mile bike ride that goes from Boston to Provincetown on Cape Cod. This race is the largest MS ride in New England. Dumas has been participating in the ride for more than 10 years....
On Sept. 10, 2016, Life Care Center of Auburn, Massachusetts, said “thank you” in a big way to first responders in the community.
The facility hosted a cookout luncheon and an outdoor carnival for local police, firefighters, EMS workers and other civil servants. The entry was decorated with blue ribbons, and the first responders enjoyed a free meal and the chance to visit with residents and associates.
Life Care Centers of America recognized the outstanding volunteer contributions of Pauline Lajoie with its Carl W. Campbell Wind Beneath My Wings Award on Aug. 24, 2015.
The award, commemorated by a crystal sculpture of an eagle in flight, was given during the company’s annual management meeting in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Dr. Lawrence Whiting recently started at Life Care Center of Auburn, Massachusetts, as the center’s first on-site physician.
In his new role, Whiting enhances physician accessibility to patients and families. He aids in hospital transitions and pharmacy communications, and being on-site allows him to personally respond to medical changes or emergencies in a timely manner.
